  26. The problem has been fixed.  Thanks to all who responded.  I
  27. bought a Golden Gate II and a ISA multi-io card, and with this
  28. card there was an IDE-cable which was perfect.  Since I wont use
  29. the HD-controller on the ISA card, I can use the cable on the
  30. Amiga IDE-controller.

  32. The cable is a standard IDE cable, with the connectors a bit
  33. apart.  The original cable was i fact long enough, but the
  34. connectors where not far enough apart.

  44. I did this, and it works great.  I added a 'diskchange cd0:' to
  45. get the disk visible at boot time.  Else it would not be visible
  46. until I ejected and closed again.  The support from AmigaOS 3.1
  47. does not include very much I think.  Just standard ISO9660.

  57. I have tested photocd now and the files appear like theyre
  58. supposed to.  i just need a viewer/converter.  :-)  I have no
  59. answers on the CD-I.

  65. No need to get offensive.  There is not a word about CD-ROM in
  66. the AmigaOS manuals, and I posted this before I got the AmiCDFS.

  68. 3.1 does not support CD32 beyond being able to read the files
  69. from the CD.  No booting etc. (I think).

  76. I'm off now that I have a clue what to do.  The system was up and
  77. running about two hours after I got the cable.

  79. I had to put my HD in the lower position besides the PSU, else
  80. the cable from the CD-ROM would crash with the HD.
